What we do

Our main objectives are:
  • The setting up Cat Cafés
  • Spaying & Neutering of Feral Cats

Latest Activity:

From 26 November, we are doing a 2 week feral cat spaying campaign around Lanzarote. Here´s a little bit from Day 1:

"We got 10 cats altogether, but were restricted because of vet times. Managed to get a home for little ginger kitten, who is on antibiotics for a week. We caught him near the bins in Playa Blanca and there was a couple throwing their rubbish in there and said they would have him after we had him checked at the vets. They have come for him this morning and he now has a new home."

We are still looking for volunteers (cat trappers, drivers, vets etc.), so click here to contact Bernie as soon as possible.

Various cat café have successfully been set up in tourist complex over the last few months (however, due to some irresponsible people "dumping" cats at complexes that have cat cafés, we will not reveal the names of these).

We have so far raised enough funds via jumble sales and direct donations to successfully spay/neuter cats in different parts of Lanzarote.

Although we are not a cat shelter or rehoming organisation, we have been involved in rehoming countless unwanted kittens and cats since we started.

The website and social network "Cat Lovers Lanzarote" was set up for "cat people" in Lanzarote for sharing photos, stories, info (forum), and generally to interact with each other.
